Anaphalis hookeri C.B. Clarke ex Hook.f., a rare species so far reported from Sikkim in Eastren Himalayas, India only is recorded for the first time from Arunachal Pradesh. During floristic survey in the remote posts of Upper Subansiri district, author collected it from the temperate forest area of Taksing (Alt. c. 3000 m), Upper Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh. Taxonomic description along with illustration (Fig.1), habitat ecology, possible use and its distribution are provided.Keywords

The present study deals with new addition to the flora of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), located in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. A total of 39 unreported species under 26 families were recorded during the recent plant exploration from the Great Himalayan National Park. A brief description based on the field character, phenology, a note on distribution and ecology has been provided here for each species.Keywords
